Certificate in Land Change Modelling
Land change models (LCMs) describe, project, and explain changes in and the dynamics of land use and land-cover. LCMs are a means of understanding ways that humans change the Earth's surface in the past, present, and future.
In this course, we demonstrate to rapidly analyze land cover change, empirically model relationships to explanatory variables, and simulate future land change scenarios using Google Earth Engine and Terrset Software (Evaluation copy will be provided).
The purpose of this course is to equip participants to expert level.

Advanced Certificate in Ecological Niche Modelling
Environmental (or ecological) niche models (ENMs) are a class of methods that use occurrence data in conjunction with environmental data to make a correlative model of the environmental conditions that meet a species' ecological requirements and predict the relative suitability of habitat. This tool is widely used in Conservation planning, Invasive risk assessment and disease assessment.
The purpose of this course is to equip participants to expert level in Ecological Niche Modelling.
